Snorkling - South of Wailea
Just a few miles south of Wailea is a great little spot for Snorkling. The parking is limited and the water conditions can be murky, but when it's good, it's great.
Haleakala - Sliding Sands
What a difference a year makes. The prior year my brother and I hiked this same trail, in conditions of driving rain and gale force winds. We had the right rain gear, so it wasn't a problem... until we heard thunder. This years hike was quite different with the warm sunshine and great views.
Snorkling - Napili
The rain we didn't get while hiking Haleakala came while we were at Napili snorkling. But what's the problem with rain when your swimming? It's not like you'll get any wetter.
